The Shin-Ei 6-TR Fuzz Wah is the king of gnarly vintage fuzz. Admittedly a little short on the Wah factor (you won't be achieving Hendrix-like tones with this wah), what it lacks in funk it makes up for in hard-out, full-on fuzz.
Two transistors short of being a TR-8, the TR-6 has controls for volume and fuzz and a tone selector switch that toggles between Hard and Soft fuzz. The soft setting is a warm, scooped darker sound while the hard position will give you teeth gnashing midrange. Fuzz is engaged via the fuzz switch above the controls and the wah is engaged via the switch below the treadle.
