At its core, the Drezno II module serves as an essential component of the 8-bit Xaoc Devices Leibniz Binary Subsystem. This subsystem comprises a family of modules that operate on 8 binary signals, which can represent different types of information such as analog signals, voltages, clocks, gates, rhythms, and more.
The Drezno II features an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). These converters allow the module to act as an analog front-end, enabling the conversion of analog signals and control voltages (CVs) into digital values, as well as the reverse process of obtaining analog signals from digital numbers or 8 binary signals. This capability opens up a wide range of possibilities for signal transformations and modulations.
The ADC and DAC sections of the Drezno II module can operate independently or be linked together, depending on the desired application. The module provides input and output range adjustment options through Gain and Offset sliders, allowing precise control over the analog signal levels. This flexibility enables users to shape and manipulate signals according to their creative needs.
