'99 Gibson Explorer 'Gothic' from the original first run back in the 1990s; this Explorer features a fully murdered-out colour-way with all black hardware, black-as-night ebony fretboard with a single 12th fret inlay, Grover mini kidney-bean tuners, original 490R/500T humbuckers and a factory decal of Orville H. Gibson (founder of Gibson guitars) on the back of the headstock (he would have loved this one!). Made in USA.
Includes non original gig bag.
Bridge and tailpiece have been replaced, as has selector switch. Professionally re-fretted with jumbo frets and setup for incredibly low action. An absolute thrash machine.
This one has a combination of natural relicing as well as an top coat of amber nitro that has been intentionally applied for a roadworn look.
