Original 1982 Dan Smith-Era Strat featuring 3-piece Alder body (4.3kgs) with slim maple neck & rosewood fingerboard. Original electronics and hardware (F-style tuners.. super cool!) however plastics have been changed out for a tuxedo composition.
Rare hardtail version which helps produce way more midrange than usual tremmed-strats and adds heaps of beefy sustain.
Refretted with medium jumbo frets long ago for longevity. Awesome player from the end of an era for Fender just before they brought in the AVRI series.
Made in Fullerton, California, USA - just like the good ole days.
