1960s Custom Order Maton DC1500 Special with one of the widest & thinnest necks seen on these wonderful Aussie-built guitars. This model was ordered with a deluxe style headstock (seen on the later Phil Manning models), an ebony fretboard & beautifully set neck (these models were bolt-on as standard). Made right here in Melbourne, Australia.
Guitar was modified with non-descript humbuckers (most likely Japanese) sometime in the late 1970s. Non original trapeze tailpiece, Includes non original hardshell case.
