Original 1954 Gretsch Duo Jet in iconic black tuxedo featuring original Dynasonics single coils, Melita bridge, tuxedo finish and big block inlays. Lightweight chambered mahogany back paired with a spruce top, chunky mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, master tone, master volume & separate volume controls for each pickup makes a resonant, balanced and wildly versatile pre-1960s Gretsch in great condition. Made in Brooklyn, NY, USA.
Includes original Gretsch tweed case with gorgeous red-wine interior and branded sash. Rear strap button has been replaced at some stage in its life. Professionally re-fretted long ago.
