Thick Vintage Distortion. The dual clipping switches for overdrive & distortion respectively each utilise different filtering caps tailored to the character of the distortion. The FAT control tailor gain & bass structure, while the filter can be pulled back to smooth out even high gain tones. True to the ProCo® circuit that inspire it, the core of the Alpha Dog runs an LM308N precision Op-Amp.
