44402
DV Mark Triple 6 120 Watt Valve Head

Designed for hard rock and metal, the DV Mark Triple 6 is a compact 120-watt all-valve amplifier head with three fully independent channels. Its high-gain channels deliver saturated distortion with pronounced attack, bass response and treble clarity, while Channel 1 provides clean headroom and warm, bluesy breakup at higher gain settings.

The Triple 6 uses an unusual valve configuration comprising two KT88 power valves and ECC83 (12AX7) valves. Channel 1 is driven by one-and-a-half ECC83 valves, while Channels 2 and 3 use three ECC83 valves for increased gain. Channel 2 moves directly into high-gain territory, while Channel 3 offers slightly reduced midrange emphasis, additional gain and compression for lead playing.

Each channel has its own independent Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Gain and Master controls, with no shared tone controls between channels. A 0 dB/-6 dB input pad accommodates standard and active pickups.

The metal-mesh chassis is approximately 60% smaller than many conventional amplifier heads and weighs 10 kg (22 lb). A built-in fan runs continuously to assist with valve cooling.

Features

120-watt all-valve guitar amplifier head

Three independently controlled channels

Two KT88 power valves

ECC83 (12AX7) preamp valve configuration

Channel 1: clean/crunch channel with high clean headroom

Channel 2: high-gain distortion voicing

Channel 3: increased gain and compression with a less pronounced midrange response

Independent Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Gain and Master controls on each channel

0 dB/-6 dB input pad for standard or active pickups

Mono effects loop with Send, Return, Send Level and Mix controls

Rotary effects-loop assignment switch for individual channels, all channels or no channels

Rear-panel manual channel-select switch

Footswitch connections for channel selection, effects loop and solo control

High/low bias switch: high bias for a more aggressive response, or low bias for reduced power use and extended valve life

Ethernet-style connection for the optional Advanced Tube Control System (ATCS), providing access to power-amp voltage, bias current and other service information

Speaker outputs:

Two 8-ohm outputs, or one 4-ohm output

Two 16-ohm outputs, or one 8-ohm output

One additional 16-ohm output

Compact metal-mesh chassis with continuously operating cooling fan

Includes carry case, male TRS to same cable and footswitch.

Video: https://youtu.be/f1kh-0AmSmc&t=15s

Product Specs

Item Number: 44402

Make: DV Mark

Model: Triple 6

Condition: Very Good

Finish: Black

Categories: amps ⇒ guitar-heads

Year: 2011

Made In: Italy

MPN: 44402

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2604/0858/files/DV_Mark_Triple_6_sku_44402_MPN_4-Found_Sound.jpg?v=1793854611
