This preamp pedal is loaded with a 12AU7 tube, and takes your unbalanced guitar input and feeds it through a high-voltage tube preamp then out through a high-end DI transformer and out into a balanced XLR output. This is the V2 of this pedal series, which also adds a fixed-frequency switchable high-pass-filter which rolls off -6dB per octave starting at 90Hz.
