Made by Harmony in Chicago for Sears between 1959 and 1961, the Silvertone 1326 “Mars” was part of the early Stratotone range sold through the Sears catalogues.
Features a chambered hardwood body finished in shaded sunburst, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.
Closely related to Harmony’s H42 Stratotone, this model helped define the early affordable American electric era. Short 24¼" scale length, trapeze tailpiece, floating rosewood bridge. Made in the USA.
Modified with Curtis Novak Goldfoil pickup, new tune-o-matic style bridge and Kluson-style strip tuners. Original DeArmond pickup not included. Includes rigid foam soft case. Some small dings visible on the face of the body, and back of the neck. Plays and sounds sweet!
