This is the perfect preamp pedal. Modelled after a '60s console preamp, the extremely high input impedance means your high frequency content is preserved from stray cable capacitance. The ouput level can exceed 8 volts peak, and when it finally distorts, the wave is shaped like triode overload, not fuzz.
