1964 Pre-CBS Princeton Reverb-Amp. Rare transition era Princeton that came without the angled 'Fender' badge on the grill cloth.
Quickly becoming the Fender amplifier to have, the Princeton Reverb combines a lightweight and friendly size with all the quintessential Fender functionality and a very reasonable output volume capable of suiting almost all settings.
On this example, non-original parts include replacement chassis straps and handle, replacement knobs, and eight screws that hold the back two panels on have been replaced. Original power transformer has been replaced with a Mercury Magnetics 240V unit for Australian operation.
The internals are entirely unmolested with the exception of the transformer replacement, one resistor replaced in the bias supply, and the bias supply has had a trim pot added for easy bias adjustment.
Tubes have been replaced with vintage upgrades, and the amp sports a Mullard ECC83/12AX7 in V1, two RCA (Lowrey badged) Black Glass 6V6GTs, and an Amperex GZ34 rectifier tube.
