Takaab 3AT x2
The 3AT is a compact 3HP module housing three individual in-out signal trimmers. Each input is paired with an attenuation knob that connects to an output, offering precise control over signal volume or voltage reduction when interfacing with other modules.
In the latest version (V3), inputs are normalized down to subsequent input jacks, effectively transforming the module into a passive 1:3 multi with attenuated outputs. For instance, if a signal is patched only into the top input, it will cascade down to the next two outputs with attenuation applied (pre-fade). Similarly, a signal introduced at the middle input will propagate down to the bottom output, provided there's no jack inserted into the bottom input. This feature enhances the 3AT's versatility, allowing for the distribution of a common control voltage across the system at varying levels.
Takaab 2LPG x2
Two passive vactrol-based low-pass gates. Works like a rudimentary VCA with some level-dependent filtering on the output signal at varying amounts dependent on the ‘Tone’ setting. Creates ‘organic’ feeling sounds especially on short, plucky and percussive sounds. Or can be used to modulate another CV in the same way as a VCA, albeit less responsively and non-linear.
With the ‘Tone’ switch in top position, the sound has some filtering, but higher control voltages can open the filter near-completely. The bottom position is the dullest, with the most low-pass filtering. Leaving the switch in the centre position gives next-to no filtering although the signal is still somewhat coloured by the circuit.
One quirk of the module is the relatively sluggish response time, especially on the down-slope, this adds to the plucky sound and also gives a natural ‘release’ to the CV, meaning it works very nicely by simply feeding a gate signal into the CV input without the need for an envelope. This release is dependent again on the tone setting, so the darker setting has a shorter release compared to the bright setting which has a very long release.
Takaab 2NON
Takaab 2NON features two ON-OFF-ON switches which can be used either way round. This allows the user to switch between two inputs (or neither in the center position) routing to the common output, or conversely routing one input to either of two outputs (or neither).
York Modular Opto3.5
Opto3.5 is a dual channel passive optocoupler which can be used as a VCA, filter or low-pass gate. The module relies on the properties of a photo-transistor to generally dirty up any signal passing through it; think of it as kind-of like a low-pass gate with built in distortion and a few other properties too.
Wavewrecker 3ATT
The Wavewrecker 3ATT is a slim line 2hp module featuring 3 passive attenuators. The output of each attenuator is normalled to the input of the next, allowing a single signal to be split through each of the three attenuators. Plugging into an input breaks the connection with the above output.
Wavewrecker MULT
2 hp mult featuring 2 groups of 1 to 3 passive multiples. The second group is normalled to the first, allowing for a 1 to 6 signal split. Plugging into the first jack of the second group breaks the connection to the above group.
