The Eston Super 20 was manufactured by Lamberti Bros in Melbourne from the late '60s until the early '70s. It was designed by Frank Lamberti - a qualified radio technician who worked at Astor Radio before going into business with his brother. This particular Super 20 was a prototype which was never sold and held in the family’s collection to this day. In 2020 it was restored by Lou Dallariva who worked for Lamberti Bros in their amplifier factory in the early '70s. New components were fitted where required and a new cabinet was made which features two 10” Celestion speakers. It is powered by two EL84 tubes and two 12AX7 tubes. It produces 17 watts of cathode biased power with a bright clean tone & classic break-up when overdriven. It also has a tremolo section like many amps of the era.
A period style foot switch is included.
